Meet the Team Behind PDA
Public Display Agency (PDA) is empowering artists to turn creativity into sustainable careers. Founded by Michelle Bylow and David Pattee, PDA offers events, learning resources, and a supportive community to help artists grow at every stage of their journey.
Michelle Bylow
Michelle Bylow has dedicated her career to making the arts more inclusive and accessible. As founder of Moniker Gallery in Toronto, she created opportunities for emerging artists, and as Executive Director of RAW Artists Canada, she expanded showcase and mentorship opportunities nationwide. Seeing the need for artists to build sustainable careers, she helped launch PDA to provide business learning resources and accessible events that bridge the gap between creativity and professional success.
Fun Fact: Michelle is a passionate vegan, animal lover, and snowboarder!

David Pattee
David Pattee is dedicated to making the arts more inclusive and accessible. A top graduate in graphic design, his career spans the private and public sectors, including animation, radio and as a college instructor. Despite success in commercial art, he craved the freedom of fine art and the opportunity to create without limits. As Director of Curation for RAW Artists Canada, he scouted diverse talent, produced engaging showcases, and built artistic communities. Seeing the need for more opportunities and support for artists, he helped launch PDA to foster creativity and provide the resources artists need to grow their careers.
Fun Fact: David shares his living space with a 6’ humanoid robot he built himself.
